L'abri at Linwood

A Wedding Celebration for Justin and Courtney

Justin and Courtney were married at L'abri at Linwood, NC.  Blue skies, white fluffy clouds and a slight breeze!  It was weather perfection!  Courtney and Justin had guests coming from all over! They wanted this day to be a celebration, with a family reunion feel! They wanted friends and family to come together, play outdoor games together, mingle while they have desserts and just enjoy being together!  ...and their celebration was just that!  The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt.  The couple choose to share communion with guests, which was a sweet and sentimental touch! ...and speaks volumes to their commitment to a Christ centered marriage.

Courtney was stunning in her timeless, off-the-shoulder lace gown from Ava Laurenne Bride, Fredericksburg, Va.  The girls all did each other's hair and makeup!  The bridal suite was full of laughter, girl talk and fun!  The bridesmaids wore mismatched but well coordinated blue dresses!  With the bridesmaids all coming together from out-of-town, Courtney thought it was easiest and most convenient to send everyone a color pallet and let them choose their own dress and shade of blue!  They all came together so perfectly!  Beverly's Flowers and Gifts did all the florals! I loved the greenery used for the bridal bouquets!  Justin was handsome in his Hart Schaffiner Marx suit from Dillard's. The groomsmen all looked sharp in their handmade bowties, handcrafted by the mother of the groom. The DJ was Coleman Phillips and he was awesome, as always!  Dinner was grilled on location by Thrills from the Grill!  Justin, the ice cream lover, had The Ice Queen IceCream Truck come to the reception! Guests were able to choose their favorite flavor ice cream AND how they'd like to eat it; cup, waffle cone or sandwiched between two huge chocolate chip cookies. The cake, adorned with the cutest little mice was made with love by Aunt Carolyn, the groom's aunt.

Courtney and Justin were amazing to work with! I say this a lot but they really were! They have easy going, life-loving souls and an undeniable love for each other!  They will undoubtably, live happily every after!
