How did you and Raffaele meet?
Raffaele and I met while we were at Lenoir-Rhyne for pre season soccer workouts in 2012. We have been together ever since.
How did he propose?
Raffaele proposed in October at Hanging Rock State Park. He knows I love hiking, but he isn’t a huge fan of heights so when we got to the top and he was acting nervous I just thought it was because of the height!! Yasmin had put rose petals out where she wanted raffaele to ask, and I noticed them and said “aw how cute! Someone must’ve gotten married here yesterday!” Little did I know they were for us!
Describe your engagement session with Yasmin Leonard Photography?
Our engagement session was AWESOME!! We knew we wanted something very formal and when I came to Yasmin with that thought, she knew the perfect places in Winston to go to. If you aren’t sure, Yasmin has tons of suggestions for locations so don’t be afraid to ask! It was not what I was expecting because I thought I was going to be so nervous the whole time but Yasmin makes you feel so comfortable and guides you through everything- she knows what she’s doing! I loved the variety of the shots Yasmin took, which makes it hard to pick your favorite! You really just have to show up and Yasmin takes it from there! I never expected to have so much fun during our session, there were tons of laughs and we can’t wait for all of our future sessions!
