Wilmington Engagement Session
Downtown Wilmington, NC Jonathan and I were excited to travel to downtown Wilmington for Brittany and Brandon's engagement session. What's more romantic than walking the streets of Downtown Wilmington, at sunset on a cool (well, cooler) summer evening!? Not much, right!? We walked the board walk, stopped on sidewalks lined with palm trees and made sure to include the beautiful sunset and view of the Battleship in the photos! We shared some laughs, talked about wedding details and enjoyed getting to know each other more!
Where did the two of you meet?
We met about 10 years ago at a Wilmington Sharks baseball game. We ran into each other again years later and starting dating in Feb. 2017.
How did he propose?
It was Monday, April 30th and I had just got home from a work trip and he took me out to the beach by Johnnie Mercer’s pier and said “do you love me?” I, of course, said yes and then he said “do you love me enough to marry me?” And he got down on one knee and asked! He even had a friend there to take pictures and had our best friends in on the whole thing to help get me out to the beach. Now I know why his hands were sweating when I was holding his hand walking out to the pier.
Where are you getting married? What are you most excited about, aside from marrying Brandon, of course!
Brooklyn Arts Center in Wilmington, NC. I’m most excited about starting our new journey together and knowing that I have a good hearted, sweet man that will love me forever! I’m Also excited about sharing our big day with our family and friends that we love so much and support us.
Describe your engagement session with YLP.
Our session with YLP was so fun and you both made us feel so comfortable and like we were the only ones there! We got to walk around downtown and share some of our favorite scenes in town that are special to us. You even let Copper join in for some pictures which means so much to us! Thank you again!
