High Point University Cap and Gown Senior Portraits
Your HPU Graduation is finally here! If you’re like Natalie, you’ve looked forward to this day for quite some time! High Point University has no shortage of beautiful locations on campus! Arguably, it’s one of the most beautiful campuses ever! Really! …with that said, most seniors don’t pick their locations based on beauty! …the locations are almost always sentimental in nature. Seniors often choose to be photographed at their first home….where they spent the most time or where most of their classes were. For Natalie, that’s exactly what she wanted! Her dorm room, Stout Education Building, Roberts…and the HPU letters are always a must!
On the day of her shoot, however, it was VERY windy (20 mph winds) and it was a very chilly day in April (low 50’s). Needless to say, it felt freezing! While still holding true to her favorite spots on campus, we also did part of the session indoors! Switching in and out allowed her to warm up…and it also gave us a great variety of looks! …not to mention, the campus has the most beautiful indoor gardens!
My advice for you, as you prepare for your senior shoot, is have fun! Regardless of what the weather throws your way….be flexible…go with the flow…and your photos will showcase your personality and accomplishments regardless! And as you can see, HPU is just as beautiful INDOORS as it is outdoors!
