Morgan and Martin - Tanglewood Engagement Session
How did you and Martin meet?
Martin and I met through mutual friends. After we met, we figured out that we went to the same high school and soon became friends. After high school, I moved to Wilmington and we fell out of touch for a few years. After I moved back home to Winston, we reconnected and the rest is history :)
How did he propose?
Martin proposed on the beach in September of 2017. Every year we take a trip, just the two of us, and last year I really wanted to spend my vacation at Carolina Beach. I grew up going there every year and I also spent a lot of time there while I was in college at UNCW. we hadn’t been in awhile so we both agreed that we would spend our vacation there. We had a nice dinner and then went for a walk on the beach and before I knew it he was down on one knee. It really couldn’t have been more perfect!
Where are you getting married and what are you most excited about? Aside from marrying your best friend, of course!
We are getting married at High Point Country Club and honestly, I am most excited about my dress!! I have always dreamt of having the most beautiful wedding dress and the one I found is PERFECT!
Describe your engagement session with YLP?
Our engagement session was perfect! Martin and I are not big picture takers so we were both a little nervous going to into it but Yasmin made us feel completely comfortable the whole time. It was like we had known her for years when really we had only met a few months before. You can really tell that Yasmin loves what she does and it really shows in her pictures! I can only imagine how beautiful our wedding pictures will be and I am so glad she is going to be apart of our big day!!
